FamaArt24:
+ 10% visitors,
55% of which were international

The 2024 edition of FamaArt concluded successfully on Sunday, October 6th.

The fair, now in its new three-day format, closed with 2,164 visitors, a significant 10% increase compared to the 2022 edition, which lasted four days. Of the visitors, 55% were international and 45% Italian, further confirming that FamaArt is the world’s leading event in the sector. Additionally, FamaArt 2024 recorded a new high in exhibitor participation, with over 70 companies.

The success of the recently concluded edition was also driven by the interest in the various event areas:

Wood Land: An area where eight different types of wood used for making picture frames were displayed. For each type of wood, a detailed description of its technical characteristics was provided, focusing on its potential use as material for frame mouldings.

Wall Frame: This area showcased 60 frames designed to best enhance a single image. Participation was excellent, with contributions from both Italian framers and those from 15 international countries. Visitors voted for the best frames, and the winning composition, which received the most votes, was created by Cornici Risso (Italy). In second place was the frame submitted by Cacciola Cornici (Italy), and in third place, the frame by Kanto Kornize (Greece).

Meet the Artist: The meeting area, where on Saturday and Sunday, six top-level artists participated in discussions. Interviewed by Silvia Rigamonti from the Quadreria di Bologna, the artists shared their experiences and artistic journeys with visitors and exhibitors.

Bolognafiere is extremely satisfied with the results of this edition of FamaArt. The innovations introduced in both format and content have achieved the goal of giving new momentum to this event, which is an undisputed world leader in its specific sector and, as such, a key and important event among those directly organized by our company. As always, these results are only possible through teamwork, and we would like to once again thank Fama International, particularly its President Luca Salvatori, for their collaboration and daily commitment alongside us to ensure the success of FamaArt 2024.”
